City of Wapakoneta Rebrand

Wapakoneta has often found itself at the forefront of history, most notably as the birthplace of Neil Armstrong. The badge shape adds a nostalgic element while the different shades of red, white and blue are a reference to vintage Americana. The main graphic element is a sunrise creating the letter “W,” a nod to the original illustrative logo. The center ray of the rising sun separates as a tribute to the lunar vehicle piloted by Armstrong.
